About the Role:
We are hiring a Sales Development Representative to help us with our first-class organization! Spot is currently the fastest growing pet insurance company in the nation and has been titled: “America's favorite Pet Insurance!" This individual will be responsible for helping us serve our sales team by conducting outreach and bringing in leads. This will be done through email outreach and cold calling while using specific resources and communicating with our sales team. This role will be evaluated on how many meetings are scheduled in a week. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, organized, and are looking to grow their career with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Email, cold call, and use LinkedIn/ZoomInfo outreach to schedule meeting with perspective Partnership Managers
- Continue to update Partnership Managers on new leads
- Input lead information to CRM platforms
- Find and verify lead’s contact information on ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and Google
- Maintain enthusiasm and energy when speaking to HR representatives and Brokers
- Understand Spot’s product to answer any questions contacts may have
- Perfect an elevator pitch to present on cold calls
- Help coordinate meetings with clients and Partnership managers to best fit each party’s schedule
- Focus on direct to business outreach
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Employee Benefits and/or Sales experience preferred
- Familiar with LinkedIn, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo (preferred)
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable with technology and internet-based programs
- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines from multiple sources
- Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and concrete way in front of an audience
- Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions
- Keep informed about industry information, technology, and trends
