Account Coordinators are responsible for executing internal operations and communicating with customers with empathy and promptness, all while ensuring the best solutions for both the customer and Spot.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Execute day-to-day operations to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing inquiries, and resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Proactive Communication: Communicate daily with carriers, customers, and Spot employees to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Order Management: Track daily orders for enterprise customers across multiple modes, including Parcel, LTL, FTL, and Containers.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure consistent load management by coordinating with internal Spot teams—including Carrier Services and Logistics—as dictated by customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in customer service, supply chain, procurement, or a logistics coordinator role is preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and BI Tools/Reporting.
- Systems: Familiarity with ERP/CRM/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, BluJay).
- Excel Expertise: Proficient with Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, array formulas, pivot tables, etc.).

- On-site 5 days a week in our Indianapolis, IN office
- Ability to travel up to 10% a year to Salt Lake City, UT
- This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and, as such, is overtime eligible
