Role Description
This is a full-time/part time, on-site role for a Line Cook Fryer Person at Sporty’s Restaurant & Catering in Bloomingdale, IL. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to uphold the restaurant’s quality standards. Responsibilities include food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following food safety protocols, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. The Line Cook may also assist with inventory management and contribute to a positive work environment while providing exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, basic cooking techniques, and operating kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and cleanliness practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with effective communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and a positive attitude in a dynamic work environment
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Culinary training or certifications are a plus
