Production Assistant/Screen Printer

Job Description: Production Assistant / Screen Printer / Retail Sales

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented team member to assist with production tasks, screen printing, and retail sales floor coverage. The ideal candidate has basic computer skills, strong customer service abilities, and a willingness to learn new skills and equipment.

Production Assistant Responsibilities:

• Receive and process heat press, screen printing, and embroidery orders.
• Monitor and respond to the graphics email.
• Contact customers when their orders are completed and ready for pickup.
• Work with the team to obtain job pricing, prepare quotes, and create client invoices.
• Use computer programs to manage orders and assist with daily operations.
• Be willing to learn and use graphic design programs as needed.
• Cut and weed vinyl for small jobs.
• Press vinyl and heat transfer designs onto garments and other products.

Screen Printer Responsibilities:

• Learn to operate the screen printing press.
• Set up and print shirts and other apparel.
• Clean and maintain screens and printing equipment.
• Monitor and order necessary printing supplies and materials.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Safely lift up to 30 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods while performing production tasks.

Retail Sales Floor Support

• Assist customers on the sales floor during busy periods, when staffing is limited, or when employees are out or on vacation.
• Learn to operate the cash register and process customer transactions.
• Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Help maintain an organized and welcoming retail environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, software, and production techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist in different areas as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Training will be provided for screen printing and other job-related tasks as needed. We are looking for someone who is flexible, willing to learn, and ready to help wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
