What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printer position at Coley's Graphics?
Duties:
- Operate screen printing equipment to produce high-quality prints (mainly an automatic M&R Challenger 2 but we do run a manual occasionally as well.
- Prepare screens by applying emulsion, exposing and washing out designs
- Mix and prepare inks for printing
- Set up and align materials on the printing press
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain and clean printing equipment and work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a screen printer is REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of different printing techniques and materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot printing issues
