What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRNP or PA-C (Physician Extender) position at SportsMED Orthopaedic Specialists?
SportsMED is seeking experienced a full-time mid-level provider (CRNP or PA-C). Current openings are in specialties of total joint/sports medicine as well as foot and ankle. Occasional travel may be required to our satellite locations in Madison, Athens, or Decatur. OR experience is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and evaluate patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Serve as first-assist for surgeries with frequent hands-on involvement
- Review imaging, develop care plans, and coordinate smooth patient flow
- Deliver clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Work closely with a surgeon and team who value partnership, respect, and shared decision-making
