The Fertility Institute of North Alabama is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our growing team.

Because reproductive endocrinology is a specialized field, we are especially interested in candidates who bring experience in fertility, reproductive health, or women’s health.

Previous fertility (REI/IVF) experience is strongly preferred and will be given priority consideration. However, we also welcome applications from exceptional Women’s Health and OB/GYN Nurse Practitioners who have a strong clinical foundation, are comfortable working independently, and are eager to expand their expertise in fertility care.

Our ideal candidate will be able to build on their existing clinical experience and transition into the specialty with focused, hands-on training and support from our team.

What You'll Do

As a Fertility Nurse Practitioner, you'll work alongside our physician, nursing team, and embryologists to deliver individualized, evidence-based fertility care.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate new and established fertility patients
• Develop and manage fertility treatment plans in collaboration with our physician
• Monitor IVF, IUI, ovulation induction, and frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles
• Perform transvaginal ultrasound monitoring
• Review laboratory and ultrasound results
• Educate patients regarding medications, treatment protocols, and expectations
• Perform office procedures within scope of practice
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and embryology
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
• Deliver exceptional, compassionate patient care throughout every stage of treatment

QualificationsRequired

• Current Alabama CRNP license (or eligibility)
• National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with significant Women's Health experience
• Minimum of two years of advanced practice clinical experience

Strongly Preferred

• Previous experience in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI)
• IVF cycle management
• Fertility treatment coordination
• Fertility ultrasound experience
• Women's Health or OB/GYN practice
• Experience using eIVF or a comparable fertility EMR
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Bi-Lingual
