Bike & Ski Shop Manager, Full-Time

As the Ski and Bike Shop Manager, you serve a dual role of ensuring that our customers have a safe and rewarding experience that will keep them coming back to Sportsman & Ski Haus time after time. You will promote a customer first service environment through your product knowledge, skills and ability to train and develop shop staff. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to demonstrating OUTSTANDING customer service skills, maintaining an always learning attitude to be open to new techniques and requirements in the interest of customer safety, providing product knowledge to our customers and leading a team to the overall customer and store needs. The successful candidate will be highly experienced in all technical aspects of bike shop and winter sports gear ( ski, snowboard, hockey, etc.) with the ability to train , mentor and guide staff towards excellent service. The shop manager is an extension of the store management team and functions as the manager in absence of Assistant and Store Managers.

• Maintain proper certifications for work on and repair of equipment and follow the guidelines as directed – emphasis on safety for staff and the customer

Job Description and Details:

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and move about on the sales floor, ascends/descends a ladder as needed to access products and assist customers. Must be able to stand for extended periods and bend, twist and reach repeatedly throughout shift and maintain a willingness to get the job at hand done.
• Full-time -must be available to work some evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Salary position $52,000 annually depending on experience with excellent benefits.
