SPT provides specialized care in physical therapy, manual therapy, spine rehabilitation, sports performance, and injury prevention for individuals, families, and athletic organizations. Additional services include ASTYM, Dry Needling, personal Training, fitness, athletic training, sports/fitness injury care, bike-fitting, running analysis, golf medical and fitness programming, balance and fall prevention, and work conditioning. Complimentary injury screens are offered at all SPT locations to support timely access to care.
Role Description The Director of Physical Therapy is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Facrotia/Eastgate Bellevue, WA, responsible for overseeing clinical operations and ensuring exceptional patient care. This role includes managing and mentoring physical therapy staff, coordinating schedules, and supporting professional development to maintain high clinical standards. The Director will provide direct patient care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions for orthopedic, sports, and spine-related conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with referring providers and community partners, monitoring quality and outcomes, and supporting the integration of specialty services such as manual therapy, sports performance, and functional fitness. The Director will contribute to clinic growth through community outreach, efficient workflow management, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, including comprehensive patient evaluation, treatment planning, and outcome-focused care.
- Strong proficiency in Orthopedics and sports-related injury management, with experience treating active individuals and athletes across age groups.
- Current Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Active Washington state Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
- Progressive leadership. Open to learn.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills, with a commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care.
- Ability to manage clinical operations, including scheduling, productivity, quality metrics, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Preferred bu not requiredBoard certification (e.g., OCS, SCS), residency or fellowship training, or advanced certifications in sports, spine, or manual therapy.
