What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Lead Teacher (Mon/Wed/Fri) 9am - 2 pm position at Sports Academy?
The Academy Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and dependable Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.
We are looking for someone who loves teaching young children, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, and wants to help create a positive, engaging classroom where children can thrive.
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 2pm
- Trainings, planning meetings, orientation, as scheduled
- School-year position (with potential summer opportunities)
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging preschool lessons using our established curriculum.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and their families.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and classroom aides.
- Communicate professionally and positively with families and staff.
- Adapt lessons and routines to meet the needs of individual children.
- Support the overall mission and culture of The Academy Preschool.
- All other responsibilities as assigned
- $12 - 15 Depending on experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching preschool or early elementary students preferred.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is welcomed but not required.
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
