We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic Group Sales Manager to lead and execute group ticket sales initiatives across both our women’s and men’s professional soccer teams. This role is responsible for generating revenue through group outings, theme nights, and customized ticket packages, with a strong focus on community engagement, partnerships, and fan development.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, develop, and close group ticket sales opportunities with schools, youth sports organizations, local businesses, nonprofits, community groups, and other affinity-based audiences.
- Create, plan, and execute group sales strategies for both the USL Super League and USL Championship seasons.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with group leaders and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with marketing and community engagement teams to align group promotions with club events and initiatives.
- Build unique and engaging theme nights and group experiences that enhance attendance and fan participation.
- Track and report on sales activity, pipeline, and performance goals using CRM and ticketing platforms.
- Assist with matchday duties including group hospitality activations, fan engagement areas, and on-site servicing of group accounts.
- Represent the club at networking and promotional events as needed.
- 3–5 years of successful experience in group ticket sales, preferably in professional or collegiate sports.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Creative thinker with a passion for building experiences and community relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and ticketing platforms (e.g., SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, or similar).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.
