Experience as prior receptionist/assistant is required. Experience in a healthcare setting is
Hours available: 28-32 hours per week
Work Schedule: This is a part-time position with the schedule being Monday-Friday. Exact hours are to be determined, but flexibility will be needed between the hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Applicant should be:
- Welcoming to new patients and visitors, whether on the phone or in person
- Able to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and others
- Detail-oriented
- Able to prioritize patient and therapist needs in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask efficiently and quickly
- Able to problem solve
- Comfortable and proficient with computers
- Effective in their communication skills, both written and verbal
- A self-starter that is willing to take on extra tasks when asked of them
- Exemplary in exhibiting a high degree of professionalism with regards to interactions with patients, coworkers, and other providers
Applicant would be responsible for:
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- Taking patient payments
- Scheduling patients
- Entering in relevant patient information into the electronic medical record
- Abiding by confidentiality laws
- Working with insurance companies in order to obtain patients’ benefits and authorizations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
