Position Summary: Sponzilli Landscape Group, landscape firm, is currently seeking a Bookkeeper Administrator. We are looking for individuals with skills in QuickBooks, Textura Billing, Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and Building Connect.
The Bookkeeper Administrator position revolves around managing and distributing information within the office. Daily tasks typically include, but are not limited to, answering phones, performing data entry, job costing, and account payable. This person reports directly to the department head and owner but will also assist all members of the team and production management staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Accounts Payable.
· Accounts Receivable.
· Credit card reconciliation/payments.
· Vendor/Subcontractor statement reconciliation.
· Subcontractor contracts. Billing, tracking and change orders.
· AIA requisitions Monthly requisition review.
· Bank reconciliation.
· Sales tax.
· Monthly Account Review
· Monthly Review with CPA
· Data input for accounting software (QuickBooks).
· Weekly meetings with managers reports.
· Transferring funds, wiring, ACH credit card payments.
· Sending receiving COI for subcontractors.
· Emailing. Contact client accounting teams.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
· Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Reconciliations, and Bookkeeping.
· Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and reports.
· Familiarity with month-end close and budgeting processes.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
