What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher's Assistant - All Ages (8 weeks - 6yo) position at Spondeo Montessori School?
Spondeo Montessori is a private Montessori school located in Gilbert, AZ. We are currently looking for a friendly and experienced teacher's assistant to join our team. We are open 7am-5:30pm and new hires must be able to work within these hours. If you are a self-motivated individual with a specific interest in children's education, we encourage you to apply!

Teacher's Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assisting the lead teachers in all classrooms and safely monitoring the children as they engage in school day activities.
- Preparing snacks for morning or afternoon time frames; or preparing bottles
- Keeping the classroom, both inside and patio, clean and in order
- Documenting daily incidents, either written or electronic
- Engaging and connecting with the children; communicating with kindness and care
- Collaborating with other educators to ensure a functional environment; following classroom routines
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to follow directions of Lead Teacher
- Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities
- Assisting in diapering and/or toilet practices when necessary
- Change diapers when necessary
- Being about to lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Flexibility to work in different classrooms; floating when needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality is MANDATORY
Teacher Assistant Mandatory Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- DPS fingerprint clearance card
- Background Check
- Maricopa County food handlers’ card or willingness to obtain
- CPR/First Aid Card or willingness to obtain
- TB Attestation Statement
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
