This position is located at our College Ave Main Campus, has a dayshift schedule of Monday to Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and starts at $20.41 per hour.

This position completes custodial and maintenance tasks for Spokane Regional Health District. Major Responsibilities include:
- Cleans, disinfects, and stocks restrooms on a daily basis.
- Empties trash and recycle paper receptacles on a daily basis.
- Vacuums carpet on a daily basis and chairs as needed.
- Cleans and disinfects drinking fountains and kitchens on a daily basis.
- Cleans and disinfects conference room tables, glass and dusts as needed.
- Cleans stairwells weekly.
- Sets-up and cleans up following meetings in the SRHD conference facilities.
- Completes final walk-through ensuring coffee pots are off, lights out and door locked.
- Cleans and buffs first floor hallways as needed.
- Spot cleans carpets as needed.
- Maintains equipment used to perform janitorial duties.
- Provides assistance as needed to move furniture, change lights, remove snow, assist supervisor, etc.
- Acts as a back-up for Lead to monitor inventory, tools and equipment, contact for contractors and train new custodians.
- Cleans carpet and furniture.
- Strips and waxes floors
- Troubleshoot problems (e.g., Carpet stains, hard floor finish problems, etc.)
- May complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Maintains compliance with all district required trainings.
- Complies with HIPPA confidentiality requirements.
- Response to emergency events may be required anytime.

Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Two years of related experience
