We’re looking for dependable, positive, and hardworking Kitchen Cooks to join our team at The Lilac Room!

If you enjoy working in a fun environment, making good food, and taking pride in what you put on a plate, we’d love to meet you.

Great for anyone in school, as sometimes there will be downtime. If your tasks are done you are more than welcome to get some studying done.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing and sanitation duties
• Support the kitchen team with food handling, portioning, and cooking tasks as needed
• Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times, including storage and temperature controls
• Assist with menu planning and daily prep work to streamline service operations
• Handle dishes efficiently during busy service periods to keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to uphold a safe working environment
• At least 1 year of kitchen experience
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have a current Washington State Food Handlers Card
• Afternoon and evening availability is preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Reliable and ready to work as part of a team
• Takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean and organized
• Understands that clean plating and presentation matter
• Pays attention to details and cares about how food looks when it reaches the guest

What We Offer

$18.75–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
