What are the responsibilities and job description for the Properties & Contracts Coordinator position at Spokane Airport?
To provide coordination support for Spokane Airports’ Properties and Contracts department including Spokane International Airport, Felts Field Airport and the Airport Business Park.
Knowledge/Skills:
Security:
- Assist public and Airport tenants in person, via email and over the telephone with requested information.
- Assist with drafting, composing, and editing correspondence pertaining to property management and tenant relations.
- Assist with lease and contract document creation using templates, documents from outside sources including written guidance from legal counsel.
- Track Airport and tenant insurance and bond requirements, insurance/risk claims and police reports to ensure compliance with lease terms and claims management processes.
- Maintain recordkeeping, subject files, archive files and tenant mailing lists.
- Manage lease and contract related data entry, provisions and file maintenance using ABRM Airport IQ software.
- Provide support to Airport Ground Transportation.
- Assist with issuance of permits for First Amendment activities on Airport-owned properties.
- Provide other administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.
- An Associate's Degree in related field with at least three years related experience, preferably in business or real estate. Preference shown for Bachelor's degree.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in meeting the minimum requirements for this position.
- Valid state driver license, free of serious or frequent traffic violations.

- Job functions require sitting for extended periods, but also involve standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and reaching.
- Extensive wrist and hand movements required for frequent keyboarding and use of office equipment.
- Ability to perform close work to file, read and use computer required.
- Ability to continuously exchange information through listening and talking with customers, coworkers, representatives of community organizations and other individuals required.
- Ability to be mobile community wide for appropriate business needs required.
