Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Nursing Home Setting
Location: Bronx, NY
Pay Rate: $55-$63 per hour
Schedule: Full-time

We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving the quality of life for our residents through patient-centered care and collaboration with a supportive interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with resident goals and clinical findings.
- Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and therapy teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Document all services provided in accordance with federal, state, and facility guidelines.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia precautions.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current SLP license in the state of New York.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
