Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Water Park Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for performing various types of maintenance duties. The ideal candidate possesses a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to be a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all aquatic facilities, attractions, and equipment to ensure safety of facilities
- Must maintain proper water balance
- Act proactively while purchasing supplies and equipment for aquatic facility
- Strong communication between all departments
- Continuous learning and knowledge of all aspects of the aquatic safety environment
- Continuous learning and understanding of pool filtration and the use of pumps
- Ability to abide by the health and safety standards of governing bodies
- Must maintain daily logs and act as a liaison between the resort and governing bodies
- Conduct daily inspections of aquatic facilities
- Diagnosis of mechanical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance
- All other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Category 24 Certification
- Amusement Park Ride Inspection Certification is preferred
- CPO License is preferred
- Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually
- Strong time management skills
