Compensation range: $30.94 - $35.36 per hour

 

The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.

Position Summary

Location: South Seattle, WA

Hours: Monday - Friday; Day Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

 

The Warehouse Lead assists in the oversight of the inventory control process and procedures to ensure efficiency and proper customer fulfillment at all Puget Sound warehouse locations. This position works closely with the Splice/Amazon team to ensure inventory accuracy and optimal utilization of warehouse space.

 

Essential Functions

  • Understands client expectations for inventory management
  • Understands roles & responsibilities of client’s service providers/vendor partners
  • Works with internal team to resolve issues in executing on program expectations
  • Implements processes to track movement of all inventory within SnapTracker (receive, store, pull, ship, etc.)

 

Ensures daily processing of:

  • All batches
  • All workorders
  • All error reconciliations
  • Determines root causes of errors for potential process corrections
  • Assist in the development and training of inventory control procedures
  • Advises on warehouse practices that affect inventory management
  • Ensures warehouse staff can utilize relevant technology (bar code scanners, reports, etc.)
  • Ensures warehouse work processes support accurate inventory control
  • Escalates process discrepancies that adversely impact inventory accuracy to the warehouse manager

 

Responsible for data integrity of inventory data:

  • Serves as SME for all AST matters
  • Trains AST/Warehouse associates on inventory control practices and technology
  • Resolves conflicts or escalates conflicts that adversely impact inventory control processes

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or additional experience in lieu of education)

Experience:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in inventory control in an environment of similar complexity
  • Experience with inventory systems is required

Physical Requirements • Seeing, color perception, hearing/listening, clear speech, hand and finger dexterity, and ability to move distances within and between warehouses/offices, ability to get to project sites. • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

 

Working Environment Generally, works in an office environment with moderate noise. Nature of work may require time spent out of the office at client location or other One Workplace offices. Reliable access to transportation required. Periodically works outside and may work around moving objects, dust, and dirt.
