What will you do in this role?
As Leader of People, you will be a trusted business partner to the company’s leaders. You will develop and implement initiatives to support our people strategy in key areas including Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Learning and Development, and Policies and Process to support the culture and growth of the business worldwide. This role oversees all People functions, and the successful candidate will function at both a strategic and operational level, partnering closely with the executive leadership team, while also managing the day-to-day activities. You bring an analytical / data driven mindset and is willing to dive into the details and be hands-on. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in scaling the People organizations. This position is based in Cupertino and requires in-office presence.
The key responsibilities of this role will require you to:
- Learning & Development:
Develop management coaching and feedback for the leadership team. Establish programs that identify and prepare high potential employees for management roles.
- Values and Culture:
Foster Splashtop’s culture, ensuring alignment with the company’s values. Build programs that support employee engagement and retention. Manage employee relations issues, and resolve conflicts as needed.
- Talent Acquisition:
Partner with leadership and management teams to ensure recruiting efforts attract the best talent to support the Company’s objectives and growth. Continually improve the on-boarding process to ensure new hires have the knowledge and tools to be successful.
- Performance Management:
Oversee employee performance management, driving a robust performance review process, including tracking and measurement of key objectives that align with company strategy and goals. Support managers in coaching and performance development initiatives.
- Compensation and Benefits:
Ensure pay practices are equitable and competitive. Educate the organization on job leveling, compensation structure and career progression opportunities. Oversee benefits administration, managing costs while bringing competitive offerings to the company. Manage compensation and benefits costs while staying competitive with market trends.
- Systems and Compliance:
Manage and enhance current systems and processes to leverage people-related data for key decision making and compliance. Responsible for HR policies, employee handbook updates, and workplace investigations. Ensure organizational compliance with federal and state laws pertaining to all human resource matters.
Who you are?
- 8 years Human Resources experience, with 4 years leading People teams in high-growth, global companies, and at least 2 years at the Director level
- Demonstrated success building, managing, and scaling teams
- Strong entrepreneurial drive including the willingness and ability to roll-up sleeves and jump in when necessary. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, while also focusing on tactical and operational issues
- A high level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail; operating at the highest level of integrity in all matters
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week
- Experience in developing and delivering high-impact People programs around learning & development, performance management, recruitment and retention
- Experience owning workforce compensation planning from start to finish
- Represent and enhance the company culture of camaraderie, transparency and commitment to delighting its customers
- Ability to lead and influence, highly approachable and receptive
- Strong business insight and analytical skills, developing metrics that will inform and influence decisions
- Experience managing and mentoring a team

Salary : $180,000 - $240,000
