Duties
- Vigilantly monitor pool activity to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies using established rescue techniques.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed, ensuring guest safety at all times.
- Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment inspections to uphold health and safety standards.
- Assist guests with pool rules, provide excellent guest services, and answer questions to enhance their overall experience.
- Perform regular pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris, vacuuming the pool floor, and maintaining water clarity.
- Support pool maintenance activities like checking chemical levels and inspecting filtration systems for optimal operation.
- Maintain accurate incident reports and safety logs to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Prior experience working as a lifeguard or in a similar aquatic safety role is preferred.
- Ability to swim proficiently in various strokes and depths.
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting when necessary for pool equipment or maintenance supplies.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
