Duties
- Vigilantly supervise pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using certified lifesaving techniques
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations consistently to maintain a secure environment for guests of all ages
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards
- Assist guests with pool access, provide swimming guidance, and address their questions or concerns with friendly professionalism
- Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities, including cleaning filters and checking safety equipment such as rescue tubes and first aid kits
- Respond effectively to emergency situations by administering first aid or CPR as needed, following established protocols
- Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all pool and surrounding areas
Experience
- Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Valid certification in lifeguarding, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and first aid is required upon hiring
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures, including chemical testing and cleaning techniques, is highly desirable
- Ability to swim proficiently in various depths and conditions is essential
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and active movement throughout shifts is necessary
- Previous guest service experience will help you excel in creating positive interactions with visitors
