Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of commercial swimming pools, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and balancing water chemistry.
- Perform equipment repairs on pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other pool systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of pool facilities.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs.
- Assist with the installation of new pool equipment and upgrades to existing systems to improve efficiency and safety standards.
- Ensure all pools meet health and safety regulations by adhering to strict cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
- Respond swiftly to service requests or emergency situations to resolve issues effectively and maintain client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role, preferably with commercial clients.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of pool equipment including pumps, filters, heating systems, chlorinators, and related machinery.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs and installations.
- Experience with pool cleaning techniques such as skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and water testing.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems quickly and implement effective repair solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance and quality standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel between multiple job sites as needed.
