Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform repairs and routine maintenance. The Pool Technician will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients by ensuring their pools are in optimal condition.
Duties
- Perform regular pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing to ensure safety and clarity.
- Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators for proper operation.
- Conduct equipment repairs or replacements as needed using hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain detailed service records of work performed on each pool.
- Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally, including draining, winterizing, and startup procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding maintenance needs or repairs.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
- Experience with equipment repair, including working with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong background in pool maintenance and cleaning techniques.
- Familiarity with the use of service technician tools and safety protocols.
