Position Overview:
Splash Pools is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pool Maintenance Technician to support residential and commercial pool operations. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and fully operational pool facilities, including water chemistry, equipment upkeep, and minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, vacuuming, brushing, and skimming
- Test and balance water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems)
- Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical or plumbing issues
- Perform minor repairs and assist with larger repair projects
- Maintain accurate service logs and report issues
- Assist with pool openings, closings, and seasonal preparations
Qualifications:
- Prior pool maintenance experience preferred (training available)
- Basic knowledge of pool systems and water chemistry
- Ability to use hand tools and perform light repairs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
