Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Lifeguard. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool. This is a vital position that requires strong swimming skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise pool area to ensure the safety of all guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Provide excellent guest service by assisting with inquiries and addressing concerns
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid when necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area for any hazards or maintenance needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other lifeguards and staff members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified Lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues
- Excellent observation skills with the ability to quickly identify potential hazards or unsafe situations
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and swimming
