Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors to maintain pristine conditions
- Conduct regular water testing to ensure proper chemical balance and adjust treatments as needed for safety and clarity
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform minor repairs using hand tools and power tools
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems; coordinate repairs or replacements to minimize downtime
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, chemical treatments, equipment repairs, and safety inspections
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment for yourself and clients
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools as required
Qualifications
- Must have a truck with a hitch
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair or maintenance
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and pool maintenance best practices
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for routine repairs and adjustments
- Service technician experience or background in maintenance roles is highly desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
