Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and professional roles across multiple worksites
- Partner with leaders to forecast hiring needs and prioritize critical roles
- Build and maintain consistent candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, and community partnerships
- Conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, and manage offers
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, turnover, source effectiveness)
- Develop strategies to improve hiring speed and candidate quality
- Own and continuously improve the onboarding experience from offer acceptance through first ninety (90) days
- Facilitate or oversee new hire orientation and onboarding schedules
- Partner with managers to ensure strong first-week and first-month experiences
- Monitor early turnover trends and recommend retention strategies
- Implement onboarding processes that increase engagement and productivity
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and audits as needed
- Assist in policy development and process improvements
- Generate HR reports and provide insights to leadership
- Manage and execute company marketing initiatives, including oversight of social media platforms, development of content, coordination of marketing campaigns, and promotion of employer branding, recruiting efforts, and company initiatives
- Perform all other duties as required
- Three (3) to six (6) years of HR experience with generalist-level responsibilities
- Strong experience in recruiting and onboarding in high-turnover environments
- Background in construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similar industry (required)
- Working knowledge of employee relations and employment law
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) systems
