Summary: Cleans, stocks, and sanitizes guest rooms, storage rooms, and housekeeping closets.

Essential Job Functions
- Removes all dirty linens from bathroom and beds, removes all trash and dirty glasses from guestrooms at checkout.
- Ensures the linens get to the laundry room in a timely manner
- Makes beds with clean linen; cleans bathtub/showers, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and mop floor surfaces.
- Dusts furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves, and vacuum room.
- Replenishes guest room and bathroom amenities, linens and supplies
- Work independently and efficiently; complete assigned room quotas in a timely manner and prioritize tasks and stay self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Ensure housekeeping cart and closets are stocked and clean and organized at the start and end of each shift and be able to operate a motorized housekeeping cart.
- Assists with deep cleaning of rooms and periodic cleaning projects when necessary.
- Uses cleaning chemicals properly and safely; adhere to health, hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensure rooms meet cleanliness and presentation standards before guests arrive.
- Records and reports maintenance issues, damages or missing items to Leads.
- Records and reports Lost & found items from guestrooms
- Operate dishwasher to clean and sterilize glassware used in guestrooms.
- Responds to guest requests in a polite and professional manner and service stayover in a timely manner.
- Cleans up spills and bio-hazardous materials.

- Learns comprehends and complies with all Company and departmental policies and procedures, MICS, gaming regulations, and Title 31 Regulation requirements.
- Follows all Corporate and departmental safety policies and procedures.
- Housekeeping processes and procedures.
- Regulations and standards governing housekeeping work.
- Cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Safety protocols relative to the handling of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Determining the difference between clean and dirty areas.
- Performing cleaning techniques.
- Communicating both orally and in writing.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, and six (6) months cleaning work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- High security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Due to the nature of the interactions with other employees and the public we serve, employees may be required to provide documentation of, or receive, certain health vaccinations.
- Work is performed in hotel environment
- Work is subject to frequent standing and walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Work is subject to frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally exposed to blood and bodily fluids.
- Frequently exposed to hazardous cleaning materials and chemicals.
- Will be required to pass a pre-employment physical.
- Equipment utilized includes standard office equipment, telephone, materials, supplies and tools used in cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, , two-way radio, and carts, vacuums, and other tools necessary to perform cleaning duties.
