What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Coordinator position at Spirit Life, Inc.?
The intake coordinator will monitor clients during the intake process, assist with interventions with clients if needed, perform client body searches and clothing search, heat treat and inventory client possessions upon admission to the facility.
Shift: Morning/Evening/Night
Duties and responsibilities
- Completes intake paperwork with client.
- Inventories’ clients’ belongings, search clothing, and heat treats clothing as needed.
- Disposes of all contraband and fills out incident report as required.
- Maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients.
- Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input during the intake process.
- Attend trainings as necessary.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Clerical duties as needed.
- Will thoroughly document all clients’ property as needed.
- All other duties assigned, such as clients’ needs concerning property or donations.
- Ensure all clients’ belongings are accurately gathered, organized, and prepared in advance for the following days scheduled discharges.
- Will transport to outside meetings.
- Will transport clients for outside resources.
