- Assists the head coach in practice, teaching techniques, and preparing for competition.
- Helps promote discipline, sportsmanship, and safety
- Supports individual skill development and overall athlete development.
- Promotes academic accountability, teamwork, and positive behavior among student-athletes.
- Communicates effectively with players, parents, and school staff
- Requires coaching endorsement/authorization through the Iowa BOEE.
