Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality primary care services, including preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with patients through longer appointment times
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team (nurses, care guides, behavioral health, pharmacists)
- Utilize data and evidence-based guidelines to improve outcomes and patient experience
- Participate in care coordination, population health initiatives, and quality improvement efforts
- Document care accurately and efficiently using the electronic health record (EHR)
- Support Spira Care’s mission, values, and patient-first culture
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active or eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and/or Kansas
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Maintain licensures and certifications throughout employment.
- Passion for value-based care and team-based practice
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset

- Meet all requirements to provide services under Spira Care’s provider agreement with Blue KC
