Job Role: Operations Logistics Associate – Manufacturing
As an Operations Logistics Associate supporting manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for executing and continuously improving warehouse and material flow processes that support production and general assembly. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, kitting, line-side delivery, milk-run execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely and accurate material availability while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end warehouse material flow from receiving docks through production and shipping using various conveyance methods (forklifts, manual handling, etc.).
- Utilize warehouse and inventory management systems to transact material movements, retrieve inventory data, and maintain part accuracy.
- Monitor and assess material requirements for assigned production areas and pull materials in alignment with production schedules.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies through both physical counts and system transactions.
- Maintain strict compliance with warehouse safety standards, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Uphold 5S standards to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Demonstrate ownership and initiative to drive operational efficiency and meet performance targets.
- Uncrate and prepare critical components for general assembly operations.
- Manage and support indirect material storage to assist internal stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse, production, general assembly, and base operations teams to ensure on-time material delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics, material flow, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of relevant industry experience
OR
- High School Diploma / GED with 8–10 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely operate heavy warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Demonstrates a proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across warehouse and production teams.
- Must pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screening.
- Must comply with the company’s Substance Abuse Policy.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
