Account Assistant
East Windsor, NJ (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time
The ideal candidate will provide support to accounting team and perform a variety of tasks pertaining to Accounts Payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, etc.
The functional role includes but not limited to:
- Process and reconcile Accounts Payable, auditing invoices for accuracy, general ledger code, and entering data into system, as per financial reporting timelines.
- Timely printing of AP checks, obtaining signature(s), and mailing checks to vendors. Filing all documents in AP files and uploading them.
- Wire and ACH functions for release of creation of payments
- Assist Accountant and other financial professionals with creating and editing several financial documents.
- Reconcile financial books and bank reconciliation of multiple banks.
- Oversee petty cash funds distribution and reconciliation, as per financial reporting timelines.
- Accurate maintenance of vendor records.
- Prepare and file quarterly sales tax, estimated Federal and State corporate taxes, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned by the senior management.
- Assist in yearend closings, annual auditing, insurance, etc.
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting with 3 years of experience.
