About the Role:
The Activities Coordinator and Bartender plays a vital dual role in creating an engaging and enjoyable environment for guests by organizing and facilitating a variety of recreational activities while also providing exceptional bartending services. This position requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly blend event planning with hospitality, ensuring guests have memorable experiences through well-executed activities and expertly crafted beverages. The role demands strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests, anticipate their needs, and foster a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the coordinator will manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards in both activity coordination and bar service. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the establishment by delivering high-quality entertainment and beverage service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in bartending or food service would be helpful but not required for consideration.
- Integrity, good work ethic and dependability a MUST.
- Outgoing personality! No wall flowers. If you are shy, do not apply.
- Strong communication and EXCELLANT customer service skills.
- Experience is not required. We would love to train the right candidate.
- Weekends and Holidays required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in working with cash and counting back change.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational and social activities tailored to the interests and demographics of guests. This includes WATER AEROBICS and KARAOKE. If you are shy, do not apply.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar and activity areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to promote activities and services, gather feedback, and ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with management and other staff to coordinate event schedules and special promotions.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately and responsibly during bar service.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and intervene when necessary to maintain a respectful atmosphere.
Skills:
The required skills enable the coordinator to effectively plan and execute engaging activities that meet guest interests. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with guests, understanding their preferences, and fostering a welcoming environment. Organizational skills are used daily to manage event schedules, inventory, and bar operations (2-days per week) efficiently. Knowledge of safety regulations and responsible alcohol service ensures compliance and guest well-being.
