Position Summary
Stockroom associates assemble kits for production, fill shortages, receive all supplies and equipment that have been ordered, receive completed lots from production, and report any production shortages to the Purchaser and Production Supervisor. Stockroom associates also check for damaged material or cartons, match packing slips with the correct purchase orders; enter parts received into the computer and move equipment and or supplies to appropriate departments. In addition, they are responsible for the general maintenance of the stockroom and any other tasks assigned. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy when handling small parts, and adherence to company core values and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling & Inventory
- Receive, sort, label, and store incoming components, hardware, and materials.
- Accurately count and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Issue materials for Production, according to work order requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transactions in the system.
- Organize stock room shelves, bins, and component storage to ensure cleanliness and accessibility.
Component & PCB Handling
- Handle small electronic components with care, following ESD-safe procedures.
- Package materials for internal transfers or customer shipments as needed.
- Identify and report any shortages, discrepancies, damaged components, or quality concerns.
Documentation & System Updates
- Record material movements accurately in ERP/MES systems.
- Label parts, reels, trays, and storage locations according to company standards.
- Assist with maintaining traceability for all materials.
Teamwork & Support
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, QC, and Engineering to ensure materials flow smoothly.
- Support production by preparing kits, verifying quantities, and returning unused parts.
- Assist with reorganizing stock room layouts, storage systems, and efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to count accurately and perform basic math.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle small parts safely.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally and handle repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer skills for inventory entry.
- Ability to follow ESD, safety, and clean handling procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, stock room, or material handling roles.
- Familiarity with electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors).
- Experience with ERP or MES systems.
- ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 knowledge.

Work Environment
- Primarily stock room and production floor environment.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and handling small parts.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
