What You'll Do
- Perform hand soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBAs), cable assemblies, and electromechanical products.
- Install and remove through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components.
- Complete solder touch-up, rework, and repair to IPC quality standards.
- Read assembly drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Inspect solder joints using magnification and identify workmanship defects.
- Use soldering irons, hot air equipment, tweezers, microscopes, and other precision tools.
- Maintain ESD compliance and follow all quality procedures.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet customer expectations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience hand soldering electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with through-hole and SMT rework.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to identify solder defects and perform high-quality repairs.
- IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
