North Phoenix - Pizza Line Cook-Lead Role

Pizza Line Cook Leads are responsible for the daily preparation and execution of all food items in the pizza station and assisting in other areas of the kitchen. 

POSITION REQUIRES:

• Lifting up to/over 50 pounds
• Environmental exposures to cold, heat and water
• Standing for up to 8 hours at one time
• Working shifts up to 12 hours
• Food Handler Certification

LINE COOK TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Setting up stations according to restaurant guidelines
• Preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Restocking all items needed throughout shift
• Cleaning and maintaining stations while practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
• Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
• Performing additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager
• Adhering to all Spinato’s Specifications and Recipes
• Adhering to all Spinato’s Policies and Procedures as stated in your employee handbook
• Adhering to all proper food handling procedures as set forth by the local Health Board Agency

In addition to the duties outlined above, Lead Roles are responsible for opening/closing department, being able to clearly communicate, showing commitment to food safety, focusing on teamwork, and multitasking.  Some Lead tasks include, but not limited to: ordering of products, inventory, ensuring stations/staff closing/cleaning restaurant or opening responsibilities of the restaurant, and overall cleanliness of restaurant while holding other employees accountable to their tasks.   The Lead Role is a great opportunity for those interested in moving into a management position.
