Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities in a friendly, non-intrusive manner
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Clear tables efficiently, bus dishes, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas according to sanitation standards
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Support team members by performing host/hostess duties or bussing tables as required in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Atleast 2 years previous experience in fine dining food service or restaurant environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, know how to carry a tray, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
