Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Industrial Engineering Intern role located in Elkhart, IN. The Industrial Engineering Intern will assist in analyzing manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing efficiency-driven solutions. Responsibilities include conducting time studies, optimizing workflows, developing process documentation, and supporting training initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure manufacturing operations meet quality and production goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering principles and practices
- Proficient Analytical Skills for evaluating manufacturing processes and identifying inefficiencies
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with Manufacturing processes and best practices
- Ability to assist in Training and development activities as required
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Google Suite) is a plus
- Previous internship or experience in a manufacturing setting is an advantage
