What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picker/Packer position at Spherion?
Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate who will be picking orders to join our team and help us keep operations running smoothly!
What you’ll do:
- Pull and fill stock orders for outgoing deliveries
- Separate, label, and verify incoming freight deliveries
- Package finished products (shrink wrap, boxing, labeling)
- Use our computer system to locate products and manage inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment is safely shut down when not in use
- Perform other duties as assigned — every day brings something new!
What you bring:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Prior warehouse or distribution center
- Familiarity with MRP systems (like AS400) a plus
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks (walk, stand, squat, etc)
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Ability to perform basic math accurately
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
