What are the responsibilities and job description for the Picker/Packer various shifts position at Spherion?
You will be responsible for accurately selecting, organizing, and packaging products to meet customer specifications and shipment deadlines. Safety, clear communication, and teamwork are vital in our facility, and we strive to maintain a safe, open, and efficient workspace.
- Accurately picks, packs, and stages snack items according to order sheets, customer specifications, and inventory systems.
- Uses handheld scanners, carts, and warehouse equipment to process inventory efficiently.
- Performs visual inspections on packaging and products to ensure quality standards.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and kneel. The employee must frequently use hands, fingers, and arms to handle materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment and changing seasonal temperatures.
Various shifts available including part time Friday and Sunday shifts that can run over 12 hours.
