What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mover/Packer position at The LongHaul Relocations LLC?
Duties:
- Assist in wrapping loading, unloading, and assembling furniture, boxes, and other items onto the moving truck or residence.
- Safely transport items to their destination using a box truck or van.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions
Experience:
- Previous experience in the moving industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with standard moving equipment such as dollys, pads, tools, shoulder straps, etc.
- Commercial driving experience is beneficial.
- Ability to drive and valid driver's license is required for all Driver Positions.
Skills:
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects 75 lbs consistently.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and customers.
- Ability to drive safely and navigate through traffic.
- Attention to detail to ensure items are handled with care during the moving process
- Customer service skills to address any concerns or questions from customers.
