Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a foundational part of a brand-new hospital warehouse operation? We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Meridian, ID. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a crucial function of our supply chain.
IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIRED.
Strong preference for individuals with immunization records available.
What You'll Be Doing:
This role is key to maintaining accurate inventory and will involve a variety of hands-on tasks. You'll be on your feet throughout the shift, conducting essential inventory tasks:
- Performing routine cycle counting and physically counting inventory in pick slots.
- Identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Operating inventory control scanners to track materials.
- Collaborating closely with team members across shipping, receiving, and fulfillment departments.
- Infrequently lifting up to 50 lbs (carts on wheels are available for transport).
- Learning the foundational skills that support the Inventory Control Analyst role.
What We're Looking For:
- Attention to Detail and strong organizational skills are a must, as some items may look similar but differ by only a few numbers or letters.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse picking, or receiving is strongly preferred.
- Ability to be on your feet and perform physical tasks for an entire shift.
- Experience with forklifts or electric pallet jacks is preferred.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be able to wear closed-toe, non-slip shoes (like tennis shoes) for safety.
Position Details:
- Location: Meridian, ID
- Pay: up to 22.00 per hour
- Schedule: Initial 2-4 week training shift is 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM with the Inventory Control Analyst. After training, the shift will transition to a schedule closer to 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM to ensure afternoon coverage. Some flexibility may be available for candidates with specific scheduling needs.
