Spherion Washington is hiring to fill a 2nd Shift, Warehouse Packer position in Coal Center, PA. The pay rate is $15.75 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Warehouse Packers are essential to ensuring quality product is packaged to be delivered with accuracy.

Warehouse Packers will assist in properly assembling and packaging similar materials to meet the needs of each order. Warehouse Packers are needed to ensure manufacturing and production runs smoothly for the other Warehouse Packers.

Responsibilities:

• Apply clips, labels and insert products into tubes, boxes and other types of packaging
• Train and rotate through all packing areas and operate various levels of manual packaging equipment Load specific components into automated packaging equipment
• Warehouse Packers follow written and verbal instructions shared by the Packer III or Team Leads
• Maintain expected output levels throughout the shift
• Examine and inspect products and packaging materials, possess the ability to identify defective products and notify the Packer IIIs of the quality issues
• Adhere to all safety protocols
• Maintain a positive attitude

Education: High School

Physical:

• Frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
• Frequently bending, crouching, twisting and reaching
• Standing and/or sitting throughout shift
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks

Skills:

• Good coordination with hands
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Basic reading, writing and math skills
• Basic technology skills
• Ability to resolve minor issues and notice unusual situations
• Work with manual and/or power tools
