Job Description:

Data Entry Associate handles order processing and sales support within their Sales Department. The role requires strong communication, data entry, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately entering and managing customer orders.
• Interacting directly with production and accounting staff.
• Handling phone and email correspondence with customers and outside sales representatives.
• Knowledgeable about electronic components; high degree of motivation; ability to perform effectively in a high-stress multi-task environment;
• Computer experience; legible printing or handwriting; attention to detail; and ability to set priorities and manage workload accordingly.
• Position involves email and telephone interaction with customers, Outside Sales Representatives, production staff, and accounting.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 24 months

Skills:

• The ability to input high volumes of alphanumeric text rapidly without errors is a core expectation.
• Precision is vital; even a misplaced decimal or transposed letter can result in major errors in reports or financial records.
• Familiarity with standard operating systems, and scanning equipment
• Cross-referencing documents, spotting duplicate entries, and identifying inconsistencies.
• The ability to meet strict daily or weekly quotas while maintaining focus during repetitive tasks.
