The basic functions of Estimator / Designer are to project the anticipated costs of each project quoted in order to derive a selling price and to provide standards for the shop and field crews and to prepare an overall schedule that will ensure on-time completion of each job. Utilize Solid Works CAD program to assist customers with developing their project ideas to prepare drawings for use in fabrication of quoted items.

Responsibilities
- Project the anticipated costs of each project quoted in order to derive a selling price and to provide standards for the shop and field crews and to prepare an overall schedule that will ensure on-time completion of each job.
- Utilize Solid Works CAD program to assist customers with developing their project ideas to prepare drawings for use in fabrication of quoted items.
Must haves:
- Minimum of three years estimating and design experience in a similar environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fabrication knowledge
- SolidWorks CAD program experience.
- Related industry experience.
- Solid background supporting diverse manufacturing, fixture design and project costing.
Nice to have
- BS or trade related education
- Machine tool experience with laser, plasma, press brake, tube bending and welding background.
