QUALITY INSPECTOR | METAL FABRICATION

We are in search of a Quality Inspector with a long-standing local company where you can grow your skills and professional career.

Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday OR Part-Time Friday-Sunday
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Wage: $20.00/HR - Depending on experience
Type: Direct Hire - Permeant position!

Responsibilities:

• Dimensional & Visual Inspection: Reviewing raw, assembled, and painted final products. You will be verifying that parts match blueprint specifications and engineering designs before they are shipped to OEMs or customers.

• Using Precision Gauges: Utilizing tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and potentially specialized equipment to check tight tolerances on CNC-machined parts or stampings.
  
• Weld & Finish Assessment: This company relies heavily on custom welding (MIG welding) and surface finishing (they use specialized ITW Gema powder paint lines). A quality role involves checking weld integrity and assessing paint booth finishes for defects.
  
• In-Process and Receiving Checks: Inspecting incoming raw metal materials or components from suppliers, as well as checking items mid-production to catch errors early.
