Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and non-profit tax returns
- Ensure the privacy of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling
- Utilize technical accounting skills to handle complex tax issues
- Use accounting software to review and manage financial data
- Perform clerical duties related to tax preparation, such as organizing documents, and data entry
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Work alongside financial advisors on tax planning matters
- Mentor interns and junior associates playing a vital role in their career growth
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Master's in Accounting or Taxation preferred but not required
- CPA license or EA designation
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Maintain a high level of integrity and trust
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite, UltraTax, QuickBooks or other accounting software, and tax & accounting research tools
- General understanding of Artificial Intelligence applications and willingness to learn and play a vital role in the firm?s progression towards such
- Track time and billing consistently and in a timely manner
- Highly motivated with the ability to solve problems individually and as a team
